According to the American Red Cross, less than 2 to 3% of the eligible donors in Southern California donate blood. One pint of blood can save up to 3 lives and about every 2 seconds someone needs a blood transfusion. Every year, ANCA Glendale Chapter partners with City of Glendale’s Week of Remembrance Committee, the American Red Cross, and several affiliated community-based organizations to organize a blood drive to give blood to those in need and to commemorate the Armenian Genocide and lives lost to man’s inhumanity to man.
This year’s annual blood drive will take place on October 22nd, 2017 at the Glendale Youth Center. Click here for more information or to sign up!
